THE ROOT OF PAIN, DEGENERATION + MANY HEALTH CONDITIONS: poor movement patterns and lack of movement

How we we move determines the quality of our lives. You can’t live fully when your suffering due to pain and injury caused by restricted habitual movements. Most in the modern world are living an extremely sedentary and immobile lifestyle – too much time spent hunched over screens, devices, in cars, and desks. Even if you are extremely active or a professional athlete, your body can still be vulnerable to developing poor movement patterns.

Anywhere in your body where there’s restriction and compensation happening- there’s dependence, stagnation and blockages.

These can affect every system and structure in your body, as well as your mental, emotional and spiritual states opf being. – No articulation, stuckness and pain, limits your freedom to move.

A collapsed body cannot work against gravity accurately.  As these deep postural muscles try to adapt, they degrade and weaken, and the inability to resist and push back against gravity can lead to chronic compression of the spine and throughout your body. This causes joint degeneration, muscle inefficiency, reduced oxygen and blood flow. This can make us vulnerable to pain, illness, fatigue, and overwhelm.

Our body is always asking for freedom: breath stretching spreading movement, tissue hydration tissue release, muscles nerves, etc to feel fully alive.

Movement therapy is based on the understanding that the majority of symptoms are manifestations of positional tensions and pain over time.

What is fascia and Why does it matter?

Body is a magnetic matrix holding us together so we can move through life in this fluid way and respond uniquely with present in every moment vs, being stuck.

Within our fascia (the web of tissue that all of our organs, bones tissues live in) is the hidden whole body delivery system for hydration – it is our true hydrating channel, bringing hydration to every single part of us. It’s our intelligent sensing system passing and receiving information. Everything we are as intelligent beings has to do with this data transfer through the fascial system.

In other words, fascia is our hydration system, information system and energy fuel system.

Movement from deep within your tissues (fascia) hydrates your entire body.

Fascia is a not an energy, an actual living matrix that wraps around our entire body – like a full body wetsuit, a sweater   in everything our eyeballs, etc.

A deeper understanding of the breath

What many don’t realize is how stuck and tight they are, and they can’t breathe. We are breathing 20,000 times per day. Every breath impacts how our body functions and how we feel. A small, subtle adjustment made thousands of times over creates significant change.

When you learn to breathe in this way -with intention and more efficiently- there are numerous benefits, such as:
