About

Being a bodyworker and leading a very active lifestyle, I began to experience major pains throughout my body that were getting worse and deeply affecting my quality of life. I had spent thousand of hours and money looking for answers along with many tears wondering how if I would ever be able to move, work, let alone to exercise the way I was used to, given the pain I’ve had for so long. I was also experiencing my body continuing to break down with new pains arising over time.

As someone who had been studying and helping others with pain for so many years, I knew deep down, there HAD to be an answer, but I didn’t know what it was.

After 2 decades of studying bodywork every type of movement I finally found the practice that changed my life. Working with different teachers and mentors, sharing their wisdom with passion, compassion and love, carried me when I couldn’t carry myself or stand on my own two feet literally- physically, emotionally mentally, spiritually- when everything was locked up, stuck and PAIN every type of movement and bodywork I tried wouldn’t give any lasting relief, much less aliveness.

Combining every type of active movement and passive healing therapy ever learned into one comprehensive experience – I’ve found a practice that gives our physical, emotional and mental bodies ultimate freedom.

As I learned to spread my tissues, decompress nerves and strengthen all my body’s systems, I knew THIS is empowerment and sought to share this practice with others.

Learning to move the way it is designed to move to be alive in my body, the layers peeled back …a my heart, soul mind consciousness, whole being began moving, opening, releasing and was uplifted. This opened up a whole new world. Feeling alive with life force, light, cells dancing  finally aware of what was throughout my body’s instrument. The joy is in the spine. From being imprisoned in the body to body being an instrument of freedom… helped me fall in love with my body gave me confidence like nothing else ….

After decades of trying to first help others and then myself- I had “The Answer.”

This practice was a miracle for me and made sense in a way nothing else had.  I know life is made of up of a dance of movement & stillness -It is our essence at our core. Who we’ve been and who we’ll always be.

I have always had a deep desire to help others achieve optimal health and holistic well-being.

My journey with this work began in 2001, studying at the Esalen Institute and Florida School of Massage. For 25+ I continued extensively studying various bodywork modalities and movement therapies with well respected teachers and mentors who have shaped my foundation.

such as Continuum Fluid Movement Therapy, Milne Institute for Cranial Sacral Therapy, Anna Rahe’s GST Body, 5 Rhythms Dance, Yoga, Breathwork and Foundation Training, and many more.

This led me to develop an extraordinary and unique approach to healing that combines various practices and disciplines I am passionate about. Each session is designed to encourage deep relaxation, pain relief, and assist with integration of your body, mind and spirit’s many rhythms.

Your body, mind and spirit has an intelligence, an innate knowing you were born with, which naturally moves towards, alignment and balance- which creates your vitality & well-being.  This manifests in the many rhythms and flow of energy that are all working at different times and frequencies throughout the your day to help you towards that in each moment.

As a practitioner, I see the body as a holistic being. I look for patterns that cause pain and listen to how it is already in the process of balance. I support that by assisting and facilitating the body’s inherent intelligence, which allows the body tap into its own ability to heal itself.  In my experience, this is a much more powerful and impactful way of working. Each treatment you receive is tailored to you, in every moment of your experience with me and no two treatments are ever the same.

My commitment is to assist others in recognizing and developing the fullest and most authentic expression of what it means to be human- healthy and vital. I am dedicated to cultivating a supportive, comfortable and trusting environment where clients feel heard and empowered to actively participate in their healing journey.

Throughout my lifetime doing this work, I have had the privilege of helping thousands of people take control of their mind/body health by incorporating lasting healing habits into their daily lives.

Body Rhythms Integrative Therapies – a unique holistic experience every time. This work was born out of understanding that we can not separate our body from psychological, emotional and spiritual experience. Our body holds all of these processes, and is constantly at work maintaining the best possible healing, balance and order-even in the most challenging circumstances.

I facilitate this by meeting each moment with presence and stillness, tuning in and listening deeply to the wholeness of your entire being- body mind and spirit. Listening to the different tides/rhythms that can be accessed in the body. These tides tell us about processes and patterns that may be held inside your tissues and fluid field. When we tune in and listen, we can meet the patterns that arise in a way that allows your own intelligence and life force to allow the deepest most transformative healing to happen.

Body rhythms Therapies encompasses all that I am passionate about: therapeutic power of touch, movement and breathing therapies, as well as teaching self-care techniques you can take home with you after our sessions. The integration of these key therapies blended together can facilitate your profound physical, mental and emotional healing, balance and well-being.

We begin with whole body breathing to help encourage the brain’s natural alpha waves and central nervous system, as in meditation.

Each session with it’s own rhythm, and flow a dance between movement and stillness, where healing and change take place.

Each session will help you understand your own body.

Each session will be a journey.

In our time together, you will learn:
to be aware of and see patterns that cause pain, learn from them, then use them to create emotional and physical freedom.

self care techniques such as breathing modalities, self massage techniques, corrective exercises, essential oils and hydrotherapy to unwind and align your body, mind and spirit.

When the body is in balance, the mind and spirit are in balance and we become much more feeling, sense-oriented, uplifted beings.
